No, my HP probook 6560b is born with an i5 2520,
i5 is only dual core with two treads ie 4 strokes
2520 is an excelent cpu no need to upgrade

Hi Rezoloot and Socket7, thank you very much for your info, I have done the same thing yesterday and installed i7 -2860QM instead my i5-2410m. Everything is great, except the memory speed, which is still 1333Mhz. Did you resolve this issue on your BIOS release from 2015? My BIOS release from 2018 and it doesn't have any set up for the memory. I've made a thread for this issue:
