So I have an hp pen which i received with me hp spectre laptop. The thing is that the pen cap is not fitting the body, the threads on the cap might have been damaged and due to this my cap cannot be attached to the body, is there anything i can do to fix this issue

If you inaadvertently broke it, you will have to replace it on your own dime unless you purchased the "repair anything" type of insurance for your notebook.

I have had two or three active pens and I have never had an issue.

With small electronic devices you have to be a bit gentle when opening up ports.
