Hello,
I am a student at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. My HP Victus laptop has developed a right hinge problem — the hinge is very stiff, and the plastic frame around it is popping out.
My warranty ended on July 10, 2025, and the issue appeared shortly after expiry. From what I see in this community and other forums, this seems to be a common manufacturing defect in HP Victus hinges, not user damage.
As a student, this laptop is crucial for my academic work. I kindly request HP to please consider this case for goodwill repair or a discounted part replacement, since it is a known defect and happened just after warranty.
Thank you for your support.
