Product: Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d1 (53F51AV)
What type of SSD should I use for the HP Victus 16 D1045 nt product? The SSD type you know is NVMe. Can an NVMe M2.0 SSD be installed in the other slot? Can different brand SSD types be installed? Can the reading speed and memory speed be different?

You can install any reputable NVMe SSDs (Samsung, WD, Crucial. . .) in the second M.2 slot.
The second slot is gen3. You can install a gen4 NVMe there, but it runs at gen3 speeds.
M.2 NVMe SSDs have no capacity limit. You can install an NVME drive of any size, 512 Gb, 1 TB, 2TB or more.
