Hello to everyone,

 

I have  a laptop  HP Pavilion which has the motherboard with name HP 87AE 32.31

I want to learn if someone knows about the motherboard specifications because i can not find any

information on web. What kind of cpu supports and how much ram can be installed on it?

You can have a maximum of 64GB of ram in that system (using two 32GB sticks).  As for CPU I’m not sure but personally wouldn’t recommend upgrading it, too much hassle in a laptop.

i have 4+4 8 gb now. i just want to upgrade 8+8 16. not more, if its okay i ll buy 16 gb
