Much thanks, I followed a solution that provided the necessary driver:
Solved: Re: HP Laptop 15S-FQ2010NP - No Drivers - HP Support Community - 7987228
The included driver (once unzipped), placed in my bootable OS USB (Windows 11), worked.
The NVME Hynix drive (NVMe SK hynix BC711 HFM256GD3JX013N) is now visible and OS install is proceeding as expected.

Hello @Kaneowaikiki

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... and I would like to help you.

(1) Download < Client-x64.zip > from Intel site

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19172/client-nvme-microsoft-windows-drivers-for-int...

(2) Unzip Client-x64.zip and copy directory containing all files to <usb flash drive>

(3) In Windows setup click "load driver" and navigate to directory of new drivers, confirm.

(4) <NVMe Drive> should be visible to continue windows 11 setup

(5) Please report your results

I downloaded the client, but none of those drivers are compatible.
The laptop has an NVMe SK hynix BC711 HFM256GD3JX013N
