HP Pavilion. Model15-cs0085cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a Laptop 15-cs0085cl  from Costco I want to add a Intel Octane 16gb.

Has anyone tried this? I was originally going to upgrade to a Samsung SSD 256gb but i think the cheaper was is Intel Octane 16gb how easy is this? Is it as simple as plug and play?

Thanks

First thing would be to remove the Bottom Cover and make sure you have the M.2 slot installed???

YES it should have an M.2 slot for Intel Optane Memory.

BUT if you did not order your laptop with an M.2 SATA-3, TLC, solid-state drive then there is a good chance that the slot is not on the system board?????

And your laptop came with a 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA Hard Drive not an M.2 SSD!!!!!

That is why we ask OP's to open the laptop first to make sure the slot is on the system board.
