Hi,

From the pictures it looks like it can be soldered back on. The trace seems slightly damaged, however repairable. As I said before, try taking to local shop where they repair smartphones (because they are usually used to soldering Micro USB ports etc.. back on to motherboards) and see if they will solder the socket back on to motherboard.

Hope it helps,

David

Hi,

I guess it depends how it is broken. Is the connector damaged. Did it come off the board cleanly. Can it be soldered back on again? Maybe you can post a couple of pictures.

I would take it to local shop where they repair smartphones and see if they can put the connector back on the motherboard.

Let me know,

David

What about the tiny blue lines? They are damaged,is it a problem or just soldering the pins will be fine?

Thanks a lot for your help.
