I have a laptop HP 14s-dq0003ur, it has a slot for M2 and a port for connecting an HDD. What kind of cable do I need to connect it? I spent a long time looking for a cable to connect sata2.5 to my laptop. The port on the laptop is 8-pin. The length should be about 20 cm.

It is not possible to install a 2.5" drive.
I can't find the service manual from HP, but you can download it from the link below:
HP 14-dq0000 | Maintenance and Service Guide
Chapter 1 of the manual does not list any support for 2.5" drives.
Chapter 3 has no 2.5" drive part numbers for drives, cables or mounting hardware.
Perhaps Huffer is right about the connector being for a fingerprint sensor, but it may also be for the 64 GB eMMC flash storage drive that came with some of the lower priced models.
Those would use a ribbon connector.
If you need more storage, you will have to replace the M.2 SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
