Hi all I really hope someone is able to help with this. I have a HP Notebook - 15-bs289wm which is currently out of warranty and I don’t have extended support. This laptop is always used in the same environment on my desk at home and I’m the only user. I tried to open my laptop today but I couldn’t. It seems as though the left side hinge is stuck. I feel like if I try to fully open the laptop lid the screen would crack, because I can see the screen panel pulling away so I’ve left it shut. There are no cracks or damage around the hinge and my laptop hasn’t fallen or anything like that....any ideas on what I could do? And why this is happening ? I’ve only had it for just over a year and didn’t expect this

This sounds like hardware related issue with the computer and in order to fix this issue your computer needs to be serviced.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.
