About a couple of months ago, the hinge on the right side of the laptop got stuck, it would not allow me to close it.  One time, I was trying to close it, the bottom of the case split from the top and a screw fell off.  

Can I open up the laptop myself to attempt to fix it, or I need to take it to a professional?
