ENVY x360 15m-cp0011dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought ENVY x360 15m-cp0011dx(with 128GB SSD).

128GB storage is not enough to me.

I'd like to know it is possilbe to add an extra ssd (M.2 2280 SATA3)

Hi,

There is not an extra M2 slot. However, you can replace the 128GB M2 SATA3 drive you have at the moment with a much larger capacity M2 SATA3 drive or even a much faster M2 PCIe NVMe drive such as the M2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus or similar. There is no limit to capacity.

On page 29 of the service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:

You could also insert a 2.5" HDD or SSD. You will need:

Hard drive cable         part number L20103-001

Hard drive rubber sleeve             part number L21894-001

You can find by searching online with part number. On page 27 of service manual, you can see the steps to install a 2.5" drive.

Hope it helps,

David
