hp envy x360 - 15t-cn000 CTO (2018)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'd like to upgrade my system board for my hp envy x360. My current system board model is 8483 70.31 Manufacturer Hp, and it has an Intel Core i5 8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, Code name, Kaby Lake-R. The main reason that I want to switch the motherboard is to upgrade the CPU from Core i5 8250U to Core i7 latest version with 8 Cores. I want to know, is there any system board with the latest core i7 CPU compatible with my current hp envy x360 model 2018 or not?

@Gholam1

There is a compatible list of System boards on page 54 of the following manual

                  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06297488.pdf

Please note: System board contains

  1. Motherboard,
  2. CPU with integrated video,
  3. Dedicated Video card (if applicable),
  4. Operating system (you can't reuse old license).

All above 4 components are on one piece of hardware called System board.

Other board(s) may not physically fit or ports won't line up with the case.

Regards.
