I read about a "sleep button" in settings. I've searched my hardware for such a button, all in vain. Where is that button?

HP Recommended

You can set the Power button to put the laptop to sleep just like you can set closing the display to put it to sleep. Right click the battery icon in the system tray- choose Power Options. In the window that opens look in left sidebar.
