My laptop has 8gb ram and my iGPU has 2GB RAM dedicated to it from this. I also have a normal GPU of NVIDIA so I dont need the iGPU to use this much ram and its never using more than like 3% of it because the NVIDIA GPU does most of the work. The only way i found to change the RAM used by the iGPU was from the advanced BIOS settings which is locked by HP. So HOW do i remove this 2GB RAM currently not being used by anything.

What is your machine ? Removing it may NOT be a good idea, machine may not work.

Its pavillion 15 gaming ec-0098ax
If not remove it entirely is there no way i can make it take less ram constantly. It never uses more than 3 % due to the NVIDIA GPU I have.
Moreover i am only able to use 6gb out of 8gb ram due to it

Its specs
It uses AMD CPU/Processor. That is a known issue which is related to AMD processors. Please check the following article:.

And from Microsoft PlayReady.

@Banhien im saying cuz one of my friends has the same chipset and he was also having the same issue but since bios was unlocked he was easily able to just go and decrease than ram and he faced no issues.
