I followed a BIOS update then now display is "programming PEI Region" and it has been stucked there. Help please ASAP. I am using my new laptop while working from home.

I understand that you are getting programming PEI Region error.

 

Try connecting a different monitor and check if it works fine?

 

Check if you can boot to BIOS

 

Follow the below steps to boot into BIOS page.

 

1. Turn on or restart the computer.

2. While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.

 

If you can boot to BIOS.

 

Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04718479 and follow Computer Does Not Start.
