Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP EliteBook 840 G3 windows 10 . I used a sim card but it is not showing cellular data option or anything that can can assure me that the sim card is working in the laptop i have a valid sim card .......i dont know how to use cellular data in this laptop as i have recently purchased it ..........please help me in an easy way by step by step .......

Hi:

 

Every HP EliteBook 840 G3 notebook has a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them don't come with is the optional and expensive WWAN adapter that is needed to connect to the cellular network.

 

The SIM card just authorizes you to use your carrier's cellular service.

 

In order for mobile broadband to work your notebook must have one of these model WWAN adapters present in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category, and I will bet that you will not find any of these WWAN adapters listed.
