Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook:

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 1 has the drive configurations and memory upgrade info.

Your notebook has an empty M.2 slot to support a second NVMe SSD and it can support up to 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory.

Hello Paul, Thanks for your support it helped me a lot.

One more suggestion needed from you that can I can use the 3rd gen SSD of 1TB capacity in the empty slot.

HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

The empty slot supports PCIe Gen 3 NVMe SSD's.

I am almost certain the secondary M.2 NVMe slot is only PCIe Gen 3, so it will not run a PCIe Gen 4 SSD at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.

Thank you so much Paul, your support has helped me a lot.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.
