Hi @SKT155
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
You can extend the size of the C-drive by reallocating space from another partition using Disk Management in Windows. Here's how to do it:
1. Check for Unallocated Space or Shrink Another Partition
- Press Win + X → Select Disk Management.
- Look for Unallocated Space on the SSD.
- If available, skip to Step 3.
- If not, shrink another partition:
- Right-click a partition (not C:) → Select Shrink Volume.
- Enter the amount you want to free up → Click Shrink.
2. Backup Important Data
- Before resizing, back up files to avoid data loss.
3. Extend C: Drive Using Disk Management
- Right-click C: Drive → Choose Extend Volume.
- Select available unallocated space → Click Next → Finish.
4. Consider Upgrading SSD (If Needed)
- If storage is insufficient, upgrading to a larger SSD could be a long-term solution.
Let me know if you're stuck at any step!
