I ran the HP diagnostics and it says the battery test passed. It goes out very fast if it is not plugged in.

I see you are experiencing issues with the Battery on the HP Pavilion 15 Notebook.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS F.36 from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
