I have a HP Specter x360 with the double right side USB-C charging ports. bought in 2019  Last year, it started having difficulty charging so I would have to wiggle the charger around to find a certain position in which it would charge. I had to purchase a new charger because I thought the charger was the problem. It turns out it wasn’t,  the issue now is that the USB-C charging ports does not work at all. I took it to best buy for repair they said charging port parts are not available they would not be able to fix it. took it to IBREAK u fix repair store they returned the computer after diagnostics that the charging ports parts are not working and parts are not available. My question is why are the parts not available and who has it . who will be able to fix the charging ports. its a relatively new computer hardly used

The ports are Thunderbolt so have to be on the motherboard as they are connected right into the processor. The usb-C ports are on the right side and definitely soldered to the motherboard.

Need the full model number to be sure but in most cases USB-C ports are soldered into the motherboard and there are no "parts" other than replacing the whole motherboard, and that is too expensive to make sense.
