Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I have a HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx that has a badly bulging battery. I know it is out of warranty but would like to buy a replacement battery. The HP site is not helpful at all in finding this part. Please let me know which part to buy and how. Thank you.

HP Recommended

This is the HP Part Number which is the way to search online. HP only stocks replacement batteries for its past models for a short time and after that, there is a very strong aftermarket where you have to go for laptop batteries.

 

Battery (3-cell, 60-WHr, 5.275-AHr, Li-ion) 929072-855

 

Service Manual 

 

See pp. 29-32 for "how to"

 

New genuine:
