Sometime ago, I spilled something on the keyboard and some of the keys did not work. I bought a wirless keybord and mouse which worked very well until the computer stared to scroll up and down and started to erase my typed lines on all
Documents. I found out the reason for this somehow the keyboard on the pc was overriding the wireless keyboard and some of the keys was stuck. I want to disable the origional keyboard but when I went to device manager under keyboard i saw 2. 1 was HID Keyboard device and the other was standard /2. Which keyboard is the correct one to remove? When I click on both keyboard, the option to disable is grayed out but the remove option is not. I don't want to mess up something by removing the wrong thing. All help is appreaciated. Thanks

Thank you very much! I have been dealing with this off and on for over a year and finally figured out the problem. I am going to remove the keyboard. One other question is after I remove it will it re set itself up when I start up the system again? Thanks again for your quick response.
