Actually, I have just been on Ebay and can easily get the parts to fit.  Power port £13 and batter from £20 to £40.

Hi @carlosmoreton

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

The AC Adapter port is not a customer replaceable part. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

Have a great day!

Thanks for the reply.

I have checked on HP support and the message is it's not supported anymore.

Seeing as I have a perfectly good laptop that just goes off when the power connector is pushed, it seems a bit of a shame that it seems as it's considered a throw away job.

Can you not give me a part number and I can fit it myself.  I am sure it's just a couple of screws and a connector...?

Cheers
