I recently purchased an additional RAM module for my HP 15s computer, but I encountered a problem with the second RAM slot.

The second RAM slot does not recognize the RAM. The RAM works fine in the first slot, but the second slot does not seem to function.

HP Recommended

Make sure the memory module is seated properly and clicks in fully. Blow out the slot with a can of compressed air. If that does not work it is likely a motherboard issue. No way to repair a bad memory slot.
