Product: hp 15-BS134wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to know how much ramm I can add to this notebook.  It is SO SLOW when we do anything and often lags so much, ie 1-3 minutes.  SO figured needs more ramm.  Drive is 3/4 empty so know its not that.  Is there 1 or 2 ramm slots, the manuals are contradictory.  Also what is max ramm,  I saw 4 gb and then 8 gb  so I am unsure.  THinking of adding 1 gb if it has 2, or just replace with an 8 gb.  Its so slow the boys cant use it for homeschooling and even my 84 yr old father is upset when it takes so long to load a document or his card games.  Any help is appreciated

It ONLY has Intel Pentium® Gold 4417U (2.3 GHz, 2 MB cache, 2 cores) processor/CPU  therefore is ONLY has 1 slot of RAM and supports 8GB max.

 

You can replace 4GB with 8GB using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2133MHz)
