I have an HP 245 G7 notebook PC with a Ryzen 7 processor. I'm looking to upgrade both the SSD and RAM. Could you please tell me what type of SSDs are supported (e.g., SATA M.2, NVMe PCIe) and what the maximum supported RAM capacity is for this model?

The service manual for 245 G7 lists two Ryzen processors, Ryzen 3-2200U and 5-2500U. 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 245 G7 Notebook PC

 

Page 2 of the manual indicates 245 G7 supports 16 (2x8) GB DDR4-2400 memory and up to 1 TB 2.5" hard drives (no M.2 drives).

 

Since your model comes with a Ryzen 7-xxxx processor, it may support M.2 NVMe SSDs and memory of higher frequency and capacity.

 

Please provide the product number of your 245 G7 notebook.
