Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, my 17z-ca100 is having issues opening and closing. Unfortunately it is outside of the 1 year warranty. It has never been dropped, but it appears the plastic around the right hinge has broken. It seems like this might be a manufacturer defect based on other feedback within the forum. I am worried the screen will become damaged if I continue opening and closing so I leave my laptop open for now. Any help is greatly appreciated!
