I have a laptop, it uses a Pentium gold processor and I was wondering if my laptop can be upgraded to intel core i3 or i5? Down here is some information about my Laptop.
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 6405U @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
Installed Ram: 4.00 GB (3.81 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Hi:
The processor your notebook has is an integral part of the motherboard.
The only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.
It would be very expensive to perform such an upgrade, assuming you can find the parts you need.
