I have an older model HP laptop and removed the DC power jack to re-purpose it in another laptop but upon removing it I cannot figure out the wiring coming out of it to the harness connector. It has two black wires. I assume those to be negative it has two red wires I assume those to be positive. It also has one yellow wire, one white wire and one purpleish grayish Colored wire so it’s seven wires and it has an eight pin connector. I noticed that housed in the same plastic casing as the DC jack. It looks like the charging light LED is also encased in there with it so I’m thinking maybe that has something to do with the other wires can anybody help me figure out  what the other three wires or four maybe with a schematic for a panel diagram anything would be helpful .
