HP 255 g6 is a series of many models/products with many different options/configurations/combinations machines. They can be from $500 to $1,200. Did you buy s cheap one or an expensive one ? You get what you paid for. No cheat.
Now we need to know what is your machine model/product before we can have a comment how to upgrade. You should buy the right machine, always cheaper than upgrade after that.
I can't see your images.

Please check which options on your REAL machine:

The series supports both Intel and AMD processors. Only Intel machines have option to add RAM. Your machine only has E2-9000e (1.5-GHz, turbo up to 2.0 GHz, 1866-MHz/1-MB L2 cache) which is the bottom end of the series, the cheapest therefore you don't have options to upgrade.
You may be able to replace existing 4GB of RAM to 8GB. Did you do a proper research before buying a machine ? Or simply looking at a cheap one ? The series does NOT offer dual storage therefore no additional slot.
How to fix ? Buy new machine.
Regards.
