I have bought thus  laptop hp 15 da1030tu. I would like to know if there is a M.2 SSD expansion slot ? If yes what kind of SSD will be compatible, SATA or MVME ?

The series does have Dual storage options for Intel core processor with M.2 slot supports both SATA 3 and PCIe pre-installed:

 

Dual storage configurations (Intel Core processors):
256 GB, PCIe, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive
128 GB, SATA-3, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive

Yes there is a slot and it can take EITHER SATA or NVME M.2 SSDs. 

 

Manual

 

Start on p. 37 for removal of back cover and find this:

 

M.2 slot circled in red.M.2 slot circled in red.

Samsung 970 Evo M.2 is a good option. But open the laptop first to double check for the slot before investing in an upgrade.
