M2x3 refers to a size of a screw that secures the motherboard to the notebook.

 

Your Intel i3 6th gen processor-based notebook comes with M.2 slot that supports SATA SSDs (see page 3 of the manual).

You can use an M.2 SATA SSD of any size you want, 512 GB, 1 TB or more. For example, this is a 1 TB SSD.
