Product: Elite book folio 1040 g2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my 8gb ddr3 ran to 16gb ddr4 is it possible will the elitebook folio 1040 i7 5600 2.6 processor will support it. If yes can you please let me know from the source to buy from.

HP Recommended

Not possible. Memory is either DDR3 or DDR4. The modules are shaped differently so DDR4 modules will not plug in where DDR3 modules were installed.
