Hi:
Below is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your PC.
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hP-Compaq/probook-6460b
They sell compatible 2.5" SSD's and the report indicates your notebooks drive controller is SATA 3.
The MX models have faster read/write speeds than the BX models do.
