Hi, @JamesB777 

 

One other last ditch effort you can try and that would be to clean install Windows on the 1 TB M.2 SSD and see if it will boot from it then.

Can I ask what you mean by clean install. And how would I boot from it. Thanks for your help

Hi:

 

You make a bootable W11 installation flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below:

 

Download Windows 11

 

Boot from the installation flash drive and when you get to the part that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows, make sure you install it on the 1 TB drive and not the 64 GB drive. 

 

It should be easy to tell which one is which by the drive capacity.

 

Then to boot from the M.2 SSD drive you should be able to tap...tap...tap...the ESC key and select the M.2 SSD from the list of bootable devices.

 

I'm not saying this is guaranteed to work but it is something to consider.

 

The problem with cloning the drive is that you cloned the eMMC boot files to the SATA drive and they use different drive controllers, which is why I'm suggesting you try it.
