I am a teacher at a small school and we have Chromebooks for the students. Recently, since moving online, I have had a number of Chromebooks come to me with dead batteries that will not charge. The Chromebooks are two years old, so they are no longer under warranty but I think for the price we paid for them, I should be able to get more than two years out of them, especially since I am not working with infinite budget and cannot just replace Chromebooks or batteries.
I am looking for potential options for my situation. Thank you.

Many people ask for free out-of-warranty service.
The reasons vary from various levels of outrage to a simple a request for help.
Our community cannot make such decisions - for good or for ill - "we" are not HP.
That said, we do have a way to forward this type of request to the Review process.
Request for Review
- I have submitted a request that someone review your question / concern.
Worth Noting
- Our Community is not HP Technical Support, nor are we HP Sales or HP Service.
- Our request for assistance on your behalf does not influence the outcome: Our request is not a magic back door into HP Support.
- The time frame (how long it takes) for a response is not controlled by the Community.
- If / When there is a response, a Community moderator / agent will (should) post back on this thread before using other methods to contact you.
