my laptop fan recently my fan has been spinning way faster after a reboot my laptop fan started to go crazy , i am worried for my laptops health my laptop fan starts to go really loud after a reboot, then when i close the laptop after the reboot my laptop fan gets back to normal but i see performance drops in game, when i game on it without closing my laptop its performance doesn't drop but it fan goes really loud, i do not  know what i should do, it started 5 days ago, i reinstalled windows a couple time but it did nothing i am  worried about this.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent Window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Shut down the computer, and then inspect and clean the exterior vents to remove dust buildup by blowing air through the vent openings. Dust can accumulate inside the vent openings and around internal cooling components, preventing the removal of heat.

  • Perform a hard reset. Performing a hard reset can reset recorded thermal values in memory and enable you to use the computer again, even if only for a short time, to access and save any important files before service.

For more information on performing a hard reset, see Use Hard Reset to Resolve Hardware and Software Issues.

  • In some cases, updating the BIOS might help prevent the noisy operation from occurring. For more information on how to update the BIOS, see Updating the BIOS.

hey echo_lake i have found the problem en the problem is my cpu was at 4ghz while rebooting en that made my laptop fan go spin loud i have fixed the problem with hp diagnostics to thank you for replying to my problem
