Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

x360 14 CD0077TU 4LR21PA . For this model, is ot worthwhile to expand the RAM from 4 GB to 16 as it has i3 8130U processor (i am unsure whether such low processor would be able to utilise 16 GB RAM or not). Also answer if any upgrade in the hard disk (SATA SSD already installed) would be good to boost its really slow speed and performance?

Hi:

It certainly wouldn't hurt.

Your notebook's processor can support 16 GB of memory, as shown in the specs below.

Intel® Core™ i3-8130U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz) Product Specifications

To me 8 GB is the absolute minimum needed to run W10, and 16 GB is better.

With only 4 GB, your notebook's memory is also running in the lower performing single channel mode--a real double whammy.  Low memory, and single channel.

In order for the memory to run in the higher performing dual channel mode, you need to install memory in both memory slots having a matching capacity (2 x 4 GB, 2 x 8 GB).

Since memory is relatively inexpensive and the notebook is not very easy to take apart, you may as well max out the memory and be done with it.
