Microsoft Windows 11

I’m experiencing yellow spots appearing in certain areas of my laptop screen. These spots are visible even when the system is in BIOS mode and remain noticeable on a plain white background. The discoloration appears to be hardware-related, not software-based, as it persists across different screens and environments. I would like to have this issue diagnosed and resolved

@praveen94911, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Run HP Diagnostics

You can try HP's built-in UEFI diagnostics:

Turn off the laptop.

Power on and press Esc repeatedly until the Startup Menu appears.

Press F2 for System Diagnostics.

Run the Display Test.

Additionally, try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists in that environment.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
