Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Unfortunately, the BEST choice of HP laptops, if you want tightly-integrated docking stations, is the business class, primarily the Elitebooks. Those laptops have special docking connectors that mate with high-end HP docks.
With your laptop, you are limited to docks that connect either with USN 3.0 jacks or USB-C jacks. Without your specific model information, I can not find out what jacks it has.
Yours might even have a USB 3.1 jack, but I can find no HP docks that connect using that.
So basically, you're stuck using what are essentially "generic" docking stations as your laptop has no specialized connectors. And that means there is no particular "right one" as any generic docking station will work.
