Microsoft Windows 11

I keep getting an Application Error message from SynTPEnh.exe.  The message states "The instruction at 0x0000000140009AC4 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000058. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program."

That is reputed to be an issue with the touchpad driver.

Temporarily connect a USB external mouse.

Download the Touchpad driver from the Software and driver web document on the HP servers.

By way of the device mananger, uninstall the touchpad driver and then install the new driver that you downloaded.

It would have been helpful if you had identified your laptop.

Watch the video here to see how to identify your HP laptop.
