Hello.
I'm hoping to upgrade my HP Pavilion G6-2237us notebook pc to an 8GB RAM. It says that it uses a DDR3 RAM (DDR3 SDRAM to be precise). Will any DDR3 RAM be sufficient or must I search for a specific one? The 8GB RAM I am interested in buying is:
PNY - 8GB 1.6GHz DDR3 SoDIMM Laptop Memory - Green
This product states it's meant for Windows 10 and older OS notebook. When I contacted their customer service, they told me HP must specify the speed or voltage in order to know if its compatible. It has a 1600 megahertz speed and a 1.35 voltage.

Hi:
You can only install 2 x 4 GB of memory in your notebook.
An 8 GB memory module will not work.
You can get compatible memory from Crucial for example...

You're very welcome.
Here is the link to the service manual for your PC to help you with taking it apart in order to upgrade the memory.
