HP Notebook - 15-ba009dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I just installed the new OS. It is not a regular version of windows. It is user built. It came from www.windowsxlite.com.

I have used there OS builds on several of my laptops. I always have had to download and install the bluetooth driver though.

This is the first time with an HP. With a lenovo, I just go to there page and download the bluetooth for the specific device and its no issue. installs and works fine. I tried that here with HP. Downloaded the driver for this specific device, installed it but it does not show up anywhere that i can see. Its not in the device manager at all. Any ideas..

Your PC has a Realtek RTL8188EE-VJ 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter:

That is a single band non-BLuetooth wifi adapter.

If you want to add Bluetooth networking to your PC, you can replace it with this model which dual band AC, has full support for W11 and has Bluetooth:

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter   HP part # L17365-005

Below is the link to the service manual:

HP Notebook PC (AMD) * Models: 15-ba100 – 15-ba199 * Models: 15-ba000 – 15-ba099 * Models: 15-bf100 ...
