Hi, I have this laptop which has fried motherboard and I tried searching online a lot for a motherboard and tried hp partsurfer, the only site that even have similar boards is aliexpress, I have 2 questions 

1. Should I buy from aliexpress? why HP doesn't have support for their products to let people search shady websites for them?

2. if I made my decision to purchase this board why not upgrade while Im at it? can someone from HP help me list what boards work with my device? Ive found a lot of MBs that have the same shape and similar power consumption would thouse work? like there is one with rtx2060 and an i7 9th gen and it has the same shape, how would I know what works with my device?

Here is the Service Manual:

See p. 19 item 8 in the parts list for compatible motherboards. You should be able to replace the motherboard with any of the listed part numbers. Observe that some are "non-Windows" which means the Windows license is not stored in the BIOS chip and you would have to buy a license. 

 

HP Parts will likely no longer stock the motherboard but sites like amazon, eBay and aliexpress have reputable sellers offering replacements in the aftermarket. 

 

L58867-601 is the top spec board with Windows license included.

Thx for the super quick reply, would u do me an additional favor and provide any reputable sources on AliExpress?

Plus this document is old mine has 10th gen cpu this one only has 9th gen

That is the only Manual HP has posted for the model series you identified. Can you give the full model number? That Manual comes up even under the
