my name is Karen herrington my address is (Edited) I need a charger from my laptop hp14dk1000 laptop I haven't had this to long and my charger stop working I'm disabled and cant afford on a fixed income can you tell me what's it is going to cost for a new charger thank you

Enter your PC's product number in the search window at the link below and it should provide the part number and description of the power adapter it needs.

A new power adapter from HP will be pretty expensive so what I recommend you do is to do a search by the HP power adapter part number on eBay and find a used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter. Those normally come with the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter.

 

I believe that this will be the part number that you see in the parts list.

If you want a new power adapter, you can order one from HP at the link below:  $81.21.

It does not come with the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the power adapter, so don't throw out the existing power cord.
