Hi, I'm upgrading an HP Pavillion 15 cs0xxx but I can't find a user manual or upgrade manual online except the other models of Pavillion 15 but I know that versions differ on each other. I don't know the factory's standard maximum ram capacity so I've done some command prompt commands on how to find the max ram capacity and it calculates to 32gb max and it has 2 ram slots and one slot is taken which is 8gb installed so that means 16gb ram slots each. I saw a forum in here as well that they are upgrading their Pavillion 15 cs0xxx from 8gb to 16gb. This is the link:

My friend. the owner of the laptop helped me gather some info and they got this although I don't know where they got it:
Now I'm confused if my calculations are right or wrong about the capacity of 32gb maximum that 16gb will be used each slot not 8gb because the online specs and cmd's data doesn't line up. Please help me solve this issue. It would also be best if anyone can also share me the upgrade manual of this laptop. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC
The memory upgrade information can be found in Chapter 1.
HP indicates the maximum memory is 2 x 8 GB.
I'm pretty sure that your notebook will support 2 x 16 GB of memory if you want to install that much.
Generally, notebooks with the Intel 8th generation core processors and two memory slots will support 2 x 16 GB of memory.
This command will check the SMBIOS:
Run the command prompt as administrator.
wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.
