Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question about this HDD pictured above is available for sale as brand new. I am wondering why it says ‘replace with HP spare’ on the sticker above. Is it a used hard drive being sold as new? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The seller might have gotten some hard drives intended to be installed in HP laptops. They always have a part number sticker on them. If it is an HP Part it will not have any WD warranty on it...it's an OEM part and would have been covered by HP warranty so you would have to look to the seller if there is a problem.
Be alert for scammers posting fake support phone numbers and/or email addresses on the community.
