HP Notebook - 15-da0028tu
Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop is a HP Notebook 15-da0028tu

it is Intel® Core™ i5-8250U and has 256GB NVMe SSD, 12GB RAM and Intel® UHD Graphics 620

I want to install a better eGPU on my Laptop (like MSI GTX 1650, gtx 1660, GTX 1660 super etc.) and i heard EXP GDC is not compatible with all Laptops. I searched the internet about my model but i could not find any answer... so i wanna know, does my laptop model support EXP GDC? and if it does What kind of Graphic Card Should i try? i personally like to install a GTX 16 series graphic card but if it doesn't support What kind of Graphic Card Should i Choose? Please give me an answer..

Hi:

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with better graphics.

thanks for you information. and yeah but many people have tried to connect an eGPU using an EXP GDC doc. so i wanna know if i remove the M.2 NGFF WLAN adaptor, can i connect the EXP GDC to my Laptop? does my Laptop's BIOS has Whitelisting?

You're very welcome.

I do not believe that the M.2 WLAN slot will support anything other than a WLAN adapter.
