I need to know exactly what type of RAM I need to expand. I know it's 8GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM, but that's not enough info. I need to know how many pins, etc.. or any other info/details/exact specifications needed to make sure I buy the correct RAM stick to expand. Tried calling support and chat support, and got basically no answers and the run-around...Can anyone please help? Thanks

From the Service Manual:

Memory modules (2400 MHz DDR4) 8 GB 862398-855 4 GB 862397-855

DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM 260 pinDDR4-2400 SO-DIMM 260 pin

260 pins 1.2v  CL17. Single rank or dual rank will work but I would not mix them.

HP says max is 16 gigs (2 x 😎 and thats true for the A series APU models but Ryzen systems are proven to be able to run 2 x 16 = 32 gigs.
